Steady flow at the bit
Drilling fluid normally leaves the bit's nozzles as a steady stream. In sticky formations cuttings build up on the bit face and slow the drilling down.

A drilling-performance sub with no moving parts, run between the motor and the bit. It turns steady flow into a pulsating, turbulent jet at the bit face to keep the bit clean and cool and to lift cuttings.

02How it works
02.1
Drilling fluid normally leaves the bit's nozzles as a steady stream. In sticky formations cuttings build up on the bit face and slow the drilling down.
02.2
Run between the motor and the bit, the Jet Bit Sub manipulates the flow rate to produce a helical pulsation. It has no moving parts.
02.3
The pulsed, highly turbulent flow leaves through the ports of the bit and acts like a hammer drill, while keeping the bit face cooler.
02.4
Agitated flow improves hole cleaning, helps prevent bit balling and reduces drilling vibrations, which prolongs the life of the bit.
03In the BHA
The sub is threaded between the motor or drill string above and the bit below. It is compatible with mud motor, rotary steerable and rotary assemblies.
